Vice Chairman of the Pondok Bambu Urban Village LMK, Heru Irianto Basuki, said that his party provided assistance in the form of six boxes of instant noodles, three boxes of cooking oil and 10 bags of 5 kilogram rice.
"Hopefully this can ease the burden on residents," he hoped.
Meanwhile, from the East Jakarta PMI, the aid distributed was in the form of 28 boxes of ready-to-eat food, three packages of basic necessities, three packages of family kits, three packages of hygiene kits and three pcs of mats.
"The number of people who received assistance was 28 people and the assistance was received by the local chairman," said Agus Bastian, East Jakarta PMI's Public Relation Section Head.
